AUSTIN, Texas—Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD’s Pecan Springs Elementary is hosting its first Winter Wonderland Festival, a family oriented event.
What: Winter Wonderland Festival, including nutrition classes and health services
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14
Where: Pecan Springs Elementary School, 3100 Rogge Lane
Background: The festival is an opportunity for the community to meet the school staff and receive free services, such as gaining information about Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), mammograms and dental hygiene.
Children’s activities include face painting, loteria, ring tossing and meeting Santa.
The Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Fire Department will display their fire truck at the school to highlight the importance of fire safety.
