AUSTIN, Texas--The 麻豆果冻传媒 Independent School District has released a statement about a fire at Walnut Creek Elementary School:

 

The Battalion Fire Commander Onsite for the 麻豆果冻传媒 Fire Department has deemed the school unavailable until noon.

Therefore, school will be closed today to students at Walnut Creek Elementary School.

AISD will be contacting parents, whose student may be unattended at bus stops. In cases where contact is not possible, students will be taken to McBee Elementary School, which will provide a safe place until the child's caretaker assumes possession.

Teachers are being asked to report to McBee Elementary School.

As soon as further developments occur, we will contact local media.
