State & Federal Programs

The Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD State & Federal Programs Department provides grants administration and compliance within the Business & Finance Division. We ensure that grant funds are aligned to identified needs while supporting compliance, strategic investment, and improved student outcomes.

Services

  • Provide technical assistance and support to campus and department staff members related to programmatic & budgetary compliance for governmental grants including Elementary & Secondary Education Act (ESEA), Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and Carl Perkins programs.
    • Title I, Part A - Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
    • Title I, Part D - Neglected & Delinquent
    • Title II, Part A - Teacher & Principal Training & Recruiting
    • Title III, Part A - English Language Acquisition & Immigrant
    • Title IV, Part A - Student Support & Academic Enrichment
    • IDEA-B Formula 
    • IDEA-B Preschool
    • IDEA-B Discretionary Deaf
    • Carl D. Perkins - Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V)
  • Assist with Campus Improvement Plan (CIP) development as related to state/federal funds alignment
  • Ensure compliance of grant program requirements
  • Provide required equitable services to eligible participating private non-profit schools
