Educational Specification and Project Development Manual Memos for the 2022 Bond Program
Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD is committed to the continuous improvement of our learning spaces. As we design new spaces, inevitable lessons are learned. To ensure we can immediately benefit from these lessons learned, memos are released as soon as possible articulating any changes or required clarifications to our Educational Specifications (Ed Specs) and/or Project Development Manual (PDM). All memos will be incorporated into future formal Ed Specs and/or PDM updates.
Universal Design (UD) Standards
What is Universal Design?
As defined by the Center for Excellence in Universal Design, universal design is the design and composition of an environment so that it can be accessed, understood and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability. All environments should be designed to meet the needs of all who wish to use it. By considering the diverse needs and abilities of all throughout the design process, universal design ensures environments enable all users to engage and thrive.
